Death is normally what you envision putting an end to your marriage, not divorce. You are angry, scared and need someone you can trust to help you get through this process as efficiently as possible, with the best future you can have.
Collaborative Divorce allows room for the emotions that are happening during this terrible time in your life by providing you with a team of professionals with various roles. Licensed therapists are involved in the collaborative process in order to provide guidance to parents in regards to children as well as to help the team, meaning you and the other professionals, avoid and overcome emotional road blocks.
Therapists like Kristen Craren have extensive training in family systems, child development and experience working with children, divorce and couples in a therapeutic setting. Specifically, she has over a decade of experience working with children K-12 in the school setting as a teacher and school counselor. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, as well as a Master’s Degree in Counseling. Ultimately, she decided to go into private practice as Craren Family Services, LLC in order to work more closely with families in therapy, mediation or collaborative divorce. She has dedicated her life to the service of individuals so that their futures will be just a bit brighter.
